TrueNAS 13.0-U4 was released on March 1, 2023 which builds on the Enterprise maturity of prior versions. Compared to TrueNAS 12.0, TrueNAS 13.0 includes significant new components and delivers improved performance, scalability, and reliability. As TrueNAS 13.0-U4 receives further testing in more customer environments, it will become the recommended release for all TrueNAS CORE and Enterprise users within two months.
In 2022, Esdebe became an iX ‘TruePartner’ providing services for TrueNAS beyond those available from iXsystems, like Data Recovery and onsite consultancy. TrueNAS is the world’s most deployed storage software.

TrueNAS 13.0-U3 is available now and includes Enclosure Management integration for the 3rd generation R50, and offers iX-Storj as a new Cloud Sync provider.
iXsystems has launched the next generation of its TrueNAS R50 Unified Storage Appliances. The R50 Gen3 has been improved with a modular architecture enabling controller upgrade or replacement.
iXsystems is partnering with Storj, an innovator in Web3 storage, to deliver Globally Distributed Storage (GDS) for TrueNAS users. The GDS service called iX-Storj is first available on TrueNAS SCALE Bluefin BETA and will soon be available for all versions of TrueNAS in Q4 2022.
